Reliable leak source Ice Universe has shared images showing the top of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. These images hint at what we can expect from Samsung’s next flagship foldable smartphone.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come with wider bezels and angular design
First, the foldable phone finally does away with the rounded corners of its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Instead, it will have sharp corners similar to the company’s flagship phone, the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The image shared by Ice Universe shows the phone folded and includes the camera hole and antenna at the top of the cover display.
The prominent feature of the shared screen is the large notch just above the selfie camera. This looks similar to its predecessor, which means we shouldn’t expect radical changes to the cover display, such as thinner bezels.
However, it also shared a side-by-side image of the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s front panel with the Galaxy Z Fold 5. This shows how different the successor model will look. Ice Universe shared this information earlier this month and also revealed the dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s cover screen.
While the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 57.4mm wide cover screen, the sixth will have a 60.2mm wide cover screen. Previous leaks have also indicated that it will have a flatter surface and angular corners, which is evident from the latest leaked images.
